Ida Lynn Powell

Ida Powell has been an integral part of the Johnston Square community since 1995, witnessing its evolution firsthand. Initially joining an unorganized community association, she stepped into a leadership role as Vice President after Regina Hammond took over. However, Ida's true passion lies in youth empowerment.

For nearly a year, Ida has been a driving force behind the Green Team organization, dedicated to engaging local youth in neighborhood cleanup efforts. Despite the ongoing challenges in the community, Ida finds fulfillment in witnessing the positive impact made by the youth who actively contribute to their surroundings.
